Zamar powers Blackwater Sports

PAUL Zamar put on another solid all-around performance as Blackwater Sports streaked to its third straight win with an 85-61 win over Jakarta Pon in the Enjoy Jakarta Anniversary Basketball Tournament Thursday.

Zamar scattered 21 points as the Elite dominated the game right from the start en route to their third blowout win in the six-team tournament.

“Unlike in our first two games where we struggled early in the game, this time we got off to a hot start,” Silliman Sy, one of the team managers, said.

With a 3-0 record, Blackwater, owned by businessman Dioceldo Sy, needs just to win its two remaining games, including against the dangerous Korean squad, to bring home the crown.
