PHNOM PENH—Samuel Morrison made it three golds in a row for the national taekwondo team in a matter of minutes with a victory in a heavier weight class on Saturday night at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games.

Morrison subdued Indonesia’s Nicholas Armanto in the men’s -87kg finals at the Chroy Changvar Convention Hall, capping a rewarding stint in the SEA Games where the 33-year-old won four gold medals in a storied career.

“This is my last SEA Games. I already have a family and I intend to just focus on my business,’’ Morrison, who will put up a taekwondo gym as soon as he retires after the Asian Games in September.

Kurt Barbosa and Arven Alcantara likewise struck gold medals for the national taekwondo team, which increased its haul to five gold medals, including two on Friday in poomsae.
