MANILA, Philippines —It hasn’t been a smooth transition for Ivy Lacsina and the Nxled setters in the PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Lacsina, the Chameleons’ biggest recruit in the off-season, admitted as much. She even revealed how she constantly bickered with teammates Kamille Cal and Maji Mangulabnan before the team ended its winless start on Tuesday.

Siguro ‘yung connection lang kasi sobrang sobrang dami naming pinagdaanan ni Cal, (Mangulabnan) para lang mag-connect talaga kami,” said Lacsina after the breakthrough 25-21, 25-18, 25-15 win over the Galeries.

But the tension with her teammates has pushed Lacsina to work harder to adjust and fit better with the Chameleons as she poured 17 points in ending the three-game skid.

Ako na mag-aadjust,” she said.

Lacsina, who had a right knee sprain before the PVL season, said she’s getting closer to 100 percent recovery, hoping to build from their first win ahead of their duel against sister team Akari on Saturday at Sta. Rosa Sports Complex in Laguna.

And she’s grateful for her coach Taka Minowa for allowing her to play her game amid the minor injury.
