PBA lines up provincial, Montalban games for Philippine Cup elims

The PBA will hold three out-of-town games plus a pair of playdates in Montalban, Rizal while Smart Araneta Coliseum hosts a pair of blockbuster matches for the remainder of the Philippine Cup eliminations.
Grand Slam-seeking TNT will face Barangay Ginebra on May 30 before the latter takes on Magnolia in the renewal of the so-called Manila Clasico on June 1 at the Big Dome based on the schedule released by the league Tuesday.

Also on tap are games in Pampanga on May 10 pitting Converge and Ginebra, Magnolia against NorthPort on May 24 in Candon, Ilocos Sur and San Miguel Beer opposite Rain or Shine on June 7 in Cagayan de Oro City.

Meanwhile, the league will be heading to Montalban at the new Ynares Center on May 2 with NLEX-Blackwater and TNT-Phoenix and May 18 pitting San Miguel-Terrafirma and Magnolia-Rain or Shine.
There will still be games at the original Ynares Center in Antipolo City on May 4 (Magnolia-Terrafirma and TNT-San Miguel), May 21 (NorthPort-Converge and TNT-Meralco) and June 15 (Converge-NLEX and Ginebra-Meralco), the last day of the elims.
Most of the games will be at Ninoy Aquino Stadium inside Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila and Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
The rest of the schedule was finalized a week after PBA commissioner Willie Marcial confirmed the postponement of the All-Star Weekend in Davao, which was originally slated for May 2 to 4.
A partial schedule that ends on April 27 was initially released before the start of the conference.
The Philippine Cup, the final conference of the 49th season, began last April 4.
Regular games are held every Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with the provincial games held Saturdays.
