MANILA, Philippines — Eya Laure rose to the occasion in her first Choco Mucho-Creamline game only to suffer a late injury in another tough loss in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Laure came out strong in front of 12,600 fans at Mall of Asia Arena., pouring in 19 points, 13 excellent receptions, and 10 digs, but fell hurt after diving for the ball when the Flying Titans were trailing 9-4 in the fourth set of their 27-25, 17-25, 25-21, 25-15 loss to Creamline on Tuesday night.
The newest Creamline star went to the locker room and was unable to come back. She left the arena, carried by her loved ones.

Choco Mucho coach Dante Alinsunurin said Laure is “okay.”
Laure likely aggravated her nagging groin injury, according to Sisi Rondina. She also suffered an abdominal strain before the Southeast Asian Games and returned in the semifinal, battling for third.
“She’s really had issues with her groin even before, and she also had a strain in her abs. I think it just got aggravated earlier. She’ll have a checkup tomorrow, and hopefully she can come back for the next game,” Rondina, who had 15 points, said in Filipino.
Laure had just returned from a long hiatus after her departure from Chery Tiggo and already played three games, where the Titans lost back-to-back.
Choco Mucho has a week before facing Capital1 at FilOil Arena.
