Blackwater Sports leaned on a late splurge by Robby Celiz to overcome Café France, 86-80, yesterday for its first win even as Jumbo Plastic and Boracay Rum rebounded from opening-day losses in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

The 6-foot-4 Celiz knocked in 10 of his 12 points in the last quarter to help the Elite hold off repeated rallies by the Bakers, who showed plenty of fight despite an acknowledged weaker roster this time.
