US Open: Bata advances, Django bows out

EFREN “Bata” Reyes and Francisco “Django” Bustamante had contrasting fates Wednesday (Thursday in Manila) in the fourth round of the US Open in Virginia, USA. The 58-year-old Reyes thumped Thorsten Hohmann of Germany, 11-9, but Bustamante bowed out in the loser’s bracket after a 10-11 loss to countryman Warren Kiamco.
