PH sweeps way to SEA Games basketball gold

MANILA, Philippines — Philippines capped its conquest of the gold medal in the 27th Southeast Asian Games men’s basketball with an 84-56 dismantling of Malaysia Sunday.

The Filipinos swept their way to the top, handily beating all six nations to retain supremacy in Southeast Asia.

Former UAAP MVP Bobby Ray Parks sizzled with 18 points for Sinag Pilipinas in its last game in Myanmar while skipper Kevin Alas added 13 points.
