Pacquiao says will start serious training for upcoming ‘m…fight’
MANILA, Philippines—Could Floyd Mayweather Jr. be the ‘m’ Manny Pacquiao is talking about?
Days after appearing in the House of Representatives where he serves as Sarangani Province’s lone congressman, Pacquiao said in an Instagram post that he is also going back to training in a few days.

“Off to work now but after few days back to serious training for my up coming m…fight. Thank you Lord,” the caption of the photo, where Pacquiao is dressed in formal attire.
Since their face-to-face meeting at an NBA game last month, the two pound-for-pound kings continue to tease boxing fans about their much-anticipated megafight with negotiations reportedly nearing the finish line.
Article continues after this advertisementPacquiao has repeatedly expressed confidence that the fight will push through, saying that he was just waiting for Mayweather to sign the contract.
The American boxer, meanwhile, reiterated that news of the fight getting the green light were all speculations but he is hopeful that they “can make the fight happen.”
Pacquiao’s long time trainer Freddie Roach, however, admitted that time is running out for their supposed May 2 showdown.
