Adamson is eyeing a head coach who is fully dedicated to the team to replace Kenneth Duremdes, who was axed on Sunday after a year on the job.
In a statement, Adamson said that the departure of Duremdes paves the way for its management to search for a new men’s basketball team coach who will dedicate his full attention to the Falcons.

“They (management) agreed to release Mr. Duremdes from his duties so they could have someone who can dedicate his full time and attention to the development of the team,” the statement read.
“Mr. Duremdes will no longer serve starting today, June 01, 2015.”
Lead assistant Mike Fermin will handle the Falcons until a new head coach is appointed.
An inexperienced Adamson squad, which is in the process of rebuilding, finished at the bottom of the standings with a 1-13 record under Duremdes in the 77th Season of the UAAP.
