Mayweather camp fires back at Golovkin, says he has never ‘fought top opponent’

And the welterweight king, who is also the pound-for-pound king, was no man to mince his words.
Article continues after this advertisementThe camp of the unified WBO, WBA, and WBC Welterweight champion Mayweather downplayed the taunts of WBC Middleweight Champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin, who said that he would beat Money if they ever see each other in a ring for his “dream fight.”
“Everyone in boxing wants to fight Floyd,” Mayweather’s camp said in a TMZ report. “It’s the biggest payday they could possibly have.”
“Golovkin has never fought a top opponent his whole career. we’re surprised you guys would even have him on your show to be honest.”
