Tri United 2 in Playa Laiya tomorrow
AUGUST Benedicto guns for another crown as the Unilab Active Health’s Tri United series returns to Playa Laiya in San Juan, Batangas, with the staging of Tri United 2 tomorrow.
Benedicto, last year’s series champ, spearheads a strong field in the 2K-swim, 60K-bike and 15K-run event organized by Bike King.
Expected to challenge Benedicto for top honors are elite competitors John Chicano, Mark Hosana, Benjamin Rana, Deo Timbol and Jonard Saim, who saw action in the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore last month.

Presented by Unilab Active Health, the race has lured 800 participants in the event which will also have a sprint distance.
The winners will receive P10,000, P6,000 and P4,000 in cash prizes for the Top 3 Elite male and female category winners. Cedelf P. Tupas
