NCAA: San Beda routs Lyceum
San Beda bounced back from a woeful night against Letran and vented its ire on Lyceum in a 97-74 blowout Tuesday in the NCAA Season 91 men’s basketball tournament at San Juan Arena.
“Anything coming from a loss, we have to learn from it and try to improve from your mistakes,” said coach Jamike Jarin.
Art dela Cruz once again was stellar in the win with 22 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and a block even as Pierre Tankoua got 13 markers.
Playing their first game without Baser Amer, the other Red Lion guards stepped up as Ryusei Koga got 12 points, four boards, and three dimes, while Dan Sara added 11 markers, seven rebounds, six assists, and six steals.
San Beda improved to 3-1, while Lyceum fell to 1-3.
Guy Mbida paced the Pirates with 13 points and eight rebounds, while Wilson Baltazar got 12 markers in the defeat. CFC
