National Basketball Association superstar LeBron James has arrived in Manila.

James arrived via a Gulfstream 5 aircraft at 5:35 p.m on Wednesday.

A source said the aircraft landed at the Aeges hangar of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

James is in the country for the Nike Rise Philippines developmental program. It is his second visit to the Philippines.

Nike Rise aims to find talented street basketball players from the across the Philippines  for inclusion in a program where they can succeed.

James is scheduled to meet fans in a showcase at the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday.
