Mark Caguioa led the squad with 22 points, four rebounds, and five steals even as Slaughter got his huge double-double of 22 markers and 21 rebounds.
“It’s a cliche, but it’s game-by-game. All three wins have been different. We went four out of five and every game has been different, every win has been different,” said coach Tim Cone. “It’s still a good thing for us because we’re still trying to learn as a unit how to play and win games. Every game is different and we’re just trying to learn as a unit, as a group, and see what works for us as different players step up in every game.”
