CIGNAL tests powerhouse Petron’s retooled squad while F2 Logistics seeks a third victory against San Jose Builders as the 2016 PLDT Home Ultera Philippine Superliga Invitational Conference resumes Tuesday at Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

The HD Spikers and Tri Active Spikers make their tournament debut as they square off at 4 p.m., before the F2 Logistics-New San Jose Builders battle at 6 p.m.

Petron underwent a massive roster overhaul following the transfer of Rachel Anne Daquis to RC Cola, Aby Maraño’s move to F2, and Dindin Manabat’s leave of absence due to pregnancy.

Veteran Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, Bang Pineda and CJ Rosario were signed by the Tri Active Spikers, who won a couple of crowns in the past two seasons and finished second to Foton in the import-flavored tournament last year.

“The addition of Aiza, Bang and CJ somehow offset the firepower that we lost because of the departure of Rachel, Aby and Dindin,” said Petron coach George Pascua.

The Cargo Movers who finished the first round in second spot at 2-1 will be seeking a repeat victory over a San Jose squad desperate to chalk up its first win in the tournament.
