WATCH: Kiefer Ravena receives shoes, letter from LeBron James
Basketball star Kiefer Ravena has received a pair of shoes and a personal letter from three-time NBA champion LeBron James.
Ravena on Wednesday took to Instagram to share a video of him opening a box of Nike LeBron Soldier shoes as he read James’ accompanying signed note.
“’Be the strong, determined, resilient person you have always been. Destroy the doubts that the world continue to throw at you. Conquer the world.’ Thank you @kingjames ! @nikeph @jappyparulan,” Ravena wrote in the caption.
Girlfriend and fellow Ateneo star Alyssa Valdez playfully expressed her “envy” for the gift, with a comment, saying “DAYA 😭.”
James was supposed to visit Manila in September but Nike said the tour was cancelled due to logistical challenges. YG/CDG
