The Sacramento Kings unveiled their partnership with locally based almond brand Blue Diamond Growers on Monday, (Tuesday in Manila) through a 2.5-by-2.5-inch jersey patch of the company’s logo.
The team becomes the second franchise to embrace a uniform sponsorship deal for the upcoming season, after the Philadelphia 76ers inked with e-commerce site StubHub back in May.

“We are proud of this community’s history of high-quality agriculture—it’s why we’ve committed to supporting local producers by using locally sourced food in our arena and why our players are proud to showcase the Blue Diamond brand on the court and around the league,” he added.
In a team press release, the Sacramento franchise also confirmed that Blue Diamond’s involvement would go beyond just the jersey patch.
