Rousey suspended 6 weeks after TKO loss to Nunes

Ronda Rousey is expected to miss up to six weeks of MMA action after her brutal technical knockout loss to UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes in the first round of the main event of UFC 207.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission, as per MMAFighting.com, released the information on Rousey’s medical suspension that would last 45 days.

It wasn’t just Rousey who received medical suspensions for potential injuries suffered in their fights in UFC 207 card.

John Lineker suffered a broken jaw in the first round of his fight against TJ DIllashaw and, according to the MMAFighting.com report, he could be sidelined until June 29 or unless a doctor clears him to fight again.

Ray Borg, Niko Price, and Alex Oliveira were also given six-month suspensions.
