National University continued to lord it over UAAP Season 79 women’s volleyball after fending off Adamson University, 25-15, 25-22, 25-19, on Sunday at Filoil Flying V Centre.

Despite the straight-sets win and a 3-0 card, NU coach Roger Gorayeb  could not hide his frustration over their lackadaisical second set that almost went Adamson’s way.

“Maybe they’re thinking that because our opponents have yet to win, this would be an easy game,” said Gorayeb. “I always remind them that there are no weak teams here.”
