AMA coach sees a bit of Arwind Santos, Jeron Teng in top tick Owen Graham
Head coach Mark Herrera couldn’t help but compare AMA Online Education’s top overall selection Owen Graham in the 2017 PBA D-League Draft to a former PBA Most Valuable Player.
“He’s like Arwind Santos. He’s hardworking on defense plus he can score,” said Herrera of the Fil-Canadian forward.

“He’s like Jeron that he really gives his all in practice. He always goes hard and you can really show how high his level is,” said Herrera, blown away by Graham’s effort in the Titans practices.
With Graham and Andre Paras in tow, AMA is set to field in an intriguing 1-2 punch in the upcoming PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cu.

“We can see that the two of them form a good combination. Andre is a workhorse and Owen can play the two to five positions, so they have a good tandem,” said Herrera.
AMA will also parade the likes of Mario Bonleon and newcomers Michael Cañete, Richard Escoto, and Philip Manalang.
“Every conference, AMA always makes it to the quarters. So this time around, our target is to reach the semis going to the championship.”
