GALLERY: First full Ironman race in Philippines

It was a historic day for Philippine triathlon and a memorable one for Nick Baldwin.

Baldwin won the inaugural full Ironman in the country held in Subic and put his homeland of Seychelles on the map of the world of triathlon. Filipino bet Augusto Benedicto, meanwhile, finished in the top five of the pro male category.

The full distance Ironman is grueling 3.8-kilometer, 180 km bike and 42 km run race.
