“I’m very excited about this new chapter in my career and I’m looking forward to a fresh start,” Pacquiao said in a statement. “I’m reinvigorated by the prospects of bringing up new fighters under the MP Promotions banner. My team will work closely with Al Haymon for the remainder of my career to deliver the most anticipated fights with the top PBC fighters. Those are the fights the fans want to see and the ones I want to have to close out my career.”
Pacquiao and Haymon, who is also the long-time adviser of Floyd Mayweather Jr., will start their partnership with the Filipino boxing star’s next bout in January next year possibly against Adrien Broner.

Broner, a former four-division champion, is also represented by Haymon.
Pacquiao will still promote his own fights under MP Promotions as part of the “new alignment with Haymon.”
MP Promotions will also team up with Haymon in providing more exposure to top Filipino and Asian fighters in the United States through the PBC series.
