Dwyane Wade’s son Zion attended the Miami Beach Pride March on Sunday, April 8, with his family in full force. And even if the NBA player was not able to tag along, he still expressed support for his son.

Wade shared pictures from the pride parade on Instagram Stories of wife Gabrielle Union as she accompanied her 11-year-old stepson. “We support each other with Pride,” Wade wrote on one picture, where Zion is seen with a rainbow ribbon pinned to his yellow tank top.

Wade revealed that his son had his own “cheering section,” thanks to the family members who attended, including older brother Zaire and baby sister Kaavia.

“Zion had his [own] cheering section today. Wish I was (sic) there to see you smile kid!” wrote the NBA star.
LGBTQ+ netizens on Twitter lauded Wade and Union’s parenting. Growin’ Up Gay (@growinupgay_) shared a picture from the pride parade and wrote, “Unconditional love, support and acceptance [are] all queer children deserve. We stan!”
