MANILA, Philippines—The Philippines dropped a four-set heartbreaker to Indonesia, 25-21, 25-17, 22-25, 25-21, Sunday night to settle for the bronze medal in the Asean Volleyball Grand Prix second leg at Sta. Rosa multi-purpose gym in Laguna.

The Nationals got off to a slow start and had to scramble to avert a shutout loss owing to Maddie Madayag and Jovelyn Gonzaga who came off the bench to deliver the much needed points.

Thailand expectedly bagged the championship, its second in a row, after routing Vietnam, 25-21, 25-12, 25-11, earlier.
