Philippines settles for bronze anew, loses to Indonesia in Asean Grand Prix
MANILA, Philippines—The Philippines dropped a four-set heartbreaker to Indonesia, 25-21, 25-17, 22-25, 25-21, Sunday night to settle for the bronze medal in the Asean Volleyball Grand Prix second leg at Sta. Rosa multi-purpose gym in Laguna.
The Nationals got off to a slow start and had to scramble to avert a shutout loss owing to Maddie Madayag and Jovelyn Gonzaga who came off the bench to deliver the much needed points.
