Gab Banal joins Alaska after MPBL, 3×3 stints

MANILA, Philippines—Gab Banal is back in the PBA after signing a deal with Alaska.
Both Aces head coach Jeffrey Cariaso and Banal himself announced the news on their social media accounts.

Article continues after this advertisementBanal was the 22nd overall pick of the 2014 Draft going to San Miguel but played sparingly during his time in the league. He also had a stint with Globalport (now NorthPort) in 2017.
He made his name outside of the PBA playing in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League, PBA D-League, and Pilipinas Chooks to Go 3×3.
The versatile forward was the MVP of the MPBL’s Rajah Cup in 2020 and was a Finals MVP for Go for Gold.
