Meralco guard Bong Quinto earns college degree at Letran

MANILA, Philippines — After a long delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bong Quinto is finally a college graduate.
The Meralco Bolts guard shared his accomplishment on social media.
“Finally!!After 1 year na pag hihintay dahil sa pandemic natuloy din ang pinapangarap kong maka pag tapos sa pag aaral,” Quinto wrote. “Unang una na nag papasalamat ako sa Panginoon sa pag kakataon na maka pag aral sa maganda skwelahan at pinaka importante yung hindi iniisip kung saan kukuha ng pang bayad sa tuition fee. Thank you so much Lord Jesus Christ! “
(Finally! After one year of waiting due to the pandemic, my dream of finishing my studies came true. First of all, I would like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to study in a good school and most importantly, for not having to worry about where to get the money to pay for my tuition fee. Thank you so much Lord Jesus Christ!)

Apart from thanking his loved ones, the 26-year-old Quinto also expressed his gratitude to his beloved alma mater Letran.
Quinto, who earned a degree in Marketing Management, played high school and college at Letran. He helped the Knights win the championship in NCAA Season 91 in 2015.
After a fruitful collegiate career, Quinto was selected in the second round by Meralco in the 2018 PBA Draft.
