MANILA, Philippines — Filipino swimmerRemedy Rule’s campaign at the Tokyo Olympics has come to an end.

The 24-year-old Southeast Asian silver medalist finished 15th out of 16 swimmers after clocking 2:12.89 in the women’s 200-meter butterfly at Tokyo Aquatics Centre Wednesday.

Yufei Zhang topped the semifinal heats with a time of 2:04.89.

Rule also competed in the 100m butterfly event, where she is the national record holder, and placed 25th of 33 in the heats last Saturday.

The country’s other tanker Luke Gebbie missed the semifinals in the men’s 100m freestyle on Tuesday but set a new PH mark of 49.64 seconds.

He will compete again the in 50m freestyle on July 30.
