Karl-Anthony Towns visits Manny Pacquiao at Wild Card
MANILA, Philippines—Manny Pacquiao is deep in training for his welterweight bout against Errol Spence Jr. but he also has time to receive some visitors from time to time.
Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns paid a visit to Wild Card Gym and gifted Pacquiao one of his jerseys.
Article continues after this advertisementTowns, who signed the gifted jersey, also autographed trainer Buboy Fernandez’ t-shirt during the visit.
“Had the opportunity to meet and greet the legend work,” posted Towns, a two-time NBA All-Star and former Rookie of the Year, on his social media accounts.

This wasn’t the first time that an NBA player visited Pacquiao during his training camp with Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson dropping by earlier this week along with apl.de.ap.
Pacquiao is set to face Spence for the WBC, IBF, and Ring Magazine welterweight titles on August 22 (Manila time) in Las Vegas in what would be his first fight since his split decision win over Keith Thurman on July 20, 2019.
