MANILA, Philippines — Jack Animam made another milestone in her flourishing career and for Philippine basketball as well.

Animam is set to play in a professional women’s basketball league in Serbia after signing with club Radnički Kragujevac.

“Words can’t express how happy we are for @animamjd for trailblazing the path for young women and girls in the Philippines and for that matter all over the world. When you have a dream go for it!! Know your worth! Never give up!” United States-based agency East West Private, which handles Animam, posted Tuesday.

Animam’s stint in Serbia is the next step toward her goal of making the WNBA.

She’s no stranger to strutting her stuff overseas.

Before taking her talents to Europe, Animam had a spectacular campaign in Taiwan where she led Shih Hsin University to a perfect championship run in the University Basketball Association.

After Taiwan, the 22-year-old center went to the United States to train under East West Private. She also saw action in the Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League.
