MANILA, Philippines–Ray Parks is headed to the Japan B.League ending much speculation following his sudden sabbatical and eventual falling out with PBA club TNT.
Parks will play for the Nagoya Dolphins, who announced his signing on social media Tuesday.
“We are pleased to announce that we have signed Bobby Ray Parks Jr. from the Philippines for the B.League 2021-22 season,” the team said.
“Ray will be registered as the Asian Player Quotas. His contract will become official as soon as he gets his medical clearance.”

Last March, the 28-year-old guard went on a sabbatical citing personal reasons just three months after leading the Tropang Giga to a finals appearance in the Philippine Cup and has kept mum since.
He posted about his career move on Twitter on Tuesday.
“New chapter, lets go!!!” Parks wrote.
Parks is the latest Filipino star to sign in the B.League after Ravena brothers Thirdy and Kiefer and Gomez de Liaño siblings Juan and Javi.
The new B.League season tips off on Oct. 2 with Thirdy’s San-en and Kiefer’s Shiga facing off.
