Romeo, Slaughter among PBA Philippine Cup stats leaders
MANILA, Philippines—Terrence Romeo’s absence in San Miguel’s past games didn’t stop him from claiming the top scoring honors in the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup.
The three-time scoring champion led the league in with an average of 19.0 points on 46.8 percent from the field in six games for the Beermen.

TNT rookie Mikey Williams came in second in the scoring charts at 18.4 points a game.
NorthPort teammates Robert Bolick and Greg Slaughter, meanwhile, led the assist and rebound departments, respectively, this conference.

Slaughter, who is playing in his first season with the Batang Pier, is the league’s best rebounder at 10.7 a game and also conference’s no.1 rim protector with 2.3 blocks per contest.
The 7-foot center was also in the top 10 in the scoring leaders at no.8 with 16.5 points.
Romeo’s backcourt partner Chris Ross took care of San Miguel’s defense as he led the league in steals with 2.3 per outing.
Williams’ scoring put him at first in the rookie leaderboard in terms of offensive contributions along with his 3.7 assists per game mark that topped the freshmen’s race.
Second overall pick Jamie Malonzo is hot on Williams’ tail in the scoring charts at 13.2 per game while also posting 9.0 rebounds and 1.8 blocks—both marks topping the newcomers’ tally.
