MANILA, Philippines—Former Ateneo star Jia Morado has tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Miguel de Guzman.
The now Creamline setter and her fiancé exchanged vows Thursday. Morado shared the update on her Twitter account.
Article continues after this advertisement“I can say, with 100 percent certainty, that I just married my soulmate,” wrote Morado along with a photo of her and de Guzman showing off their wedding rings.
Morado’s teammates from Ateneo including Kim Gequillana and Jamie Lavitoria also attended the wedding.
De Guzman and Morado announced their engagement on October 1, 2020 through their social media accounts.
Article continues after this advertisementAlyssa Valdez, who was listed as cord sponsor, and her boyfriend Kiefer Ravena were not able to attend the wedding due to prior commitments.
Valdez is a celebrity housemate in the reality show Pinoy Big Brother while Ravena is in Japan playing for Shiga in the B.League.
Morado is a two-time UAAP champion with the Lady Eagles and has won three titles in the Premier Volleyball League with the Cool Smashers.
