MANILA, Philippines—Not even Kiefer Ravena’s best scoring night in the B.League was enough to snap Shiga out of its funk.
Ravena fired 28 points, his most in Japan, that went with eight assists in a losing effort to Osaka Evessa, who compounded the Lakestars’ misery with an 89-81 win on Wednesday night at Ookini Arena Maishima.
His previous high in the B.League was 27 points in a loss to the Chiba Jets on November 7.
Shiga slipped to its 11th setback in a row for a 6-13 record.
Also dropping to its 11th straight loss is San-en, which lost to Hiroshima, 82-74, at Hiroshima Sun Plaza.
Thirdy Ravena had 12 points, five assists, one steal and a block but shot just 4-of-14 from the field in just his third game back for the NeoPhoenix following a two-game suspension.
San-en, which drew 20 points, 13 rebounds and six assists from Robert Carter, fell to 3-16.
