MANILA, Philippines—Kiefer Ravena is also endorsing presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo in the May 9 election.

Ravena declared her support for Robredo on social media Monday.

“Iboboto ko si VP Leni dahil siya ang may kakayahang tulungan at lutasin ang mga problema ng ating bansa,” the Filipino basketball star said.

(I’m voting for VP Leni because she has the ability to help and solve the problems of our country.)

The 28-year-old Ravena, who is currently playing for the Shiga Lakestars in the Japan B.League, also vouched for Senator Kiko Pangilinan in the vice presidential race.

“Kasama si Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, may pag-asa ang Pilipinas.”

(Together with Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, the Philippines has hope.)

Ravena is just among the many athletes who have come out to rally behind Robredo.

Likewise, Ravena’s longtime girlfriend, Alyssa Valdez, along with other volleyball stars, had announced last month they are backing Robredo too.
