MANILA, Philippines — Fresh from her women’s national team training camp in Brazil, Alyssa Valdez went house-to-house in Parañaque on Sunday to campaign for Vice President Leni Robredo in her presidential bid in the May 9 polls.
The three-time Premier Volleyball League MVP visited barangays in Paranaque, joining a group of volunteers to encourage support for Robredo and her running mate Kiko Pangilinan.
Valdez was with her Creamline teammate Risa Sato and assistant coach Karlo Santos and former Ateneo Blue Eagles’ middle blocker Josh Villanueva.
Pinoy Big Brother host Bianca Gonzales, wife of retired PBA player JC Intal, shared the former Celebrity housemate’s house-to-house campaign on Twitter.

Valdez just arrived from a fruitful Brazil training camp a few days ago. She is set to lead the Philippine women’s volleyball team in the fourth straight Southeast Asian Games this May in Hanoi, Vietnam.
