MANILA, Philippines — At age 25, Eya Laure hopes to continue achieving her goals on and off the court.

Her girl’s goal as she turns a year old this year is to win a title with Chery Tiggo in the PVL, but she wants to remain smart outside of volleyball by investing in properties and keep on reaching “adulting” milestones. FULL STORY

MANILA, Philippines–Eya Laure celebrated her 25th birthday with Chery Tiggo toppling another tough opponent in the PVL All-Filipino Conference.

The Crossovers held on to complete a 25-21, 18-25, 22-25, 25-19, 15-13 victory over Petro Gazz on Thursday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

“Maganda yung naging last two sets namin kasi nga yung character na gusto naming mangyari, nandun na,” Chery Tiggo coach KungFu Reyes said. “Andun na rin yung communication, yung grit. Hanggang dulo, hangga’t di tapos yung laro, walang titigil.” FULL STORY

MANILA, Philippines — Creamline star Alyssa Valdez was thrilled to face her former coach Roger Gorayeb once again in the PVL stage after three years.

Valdez, who scored five points in two sets played on Wednesday, admitted that Gorayeb still knows her in-game tendencies even though the Cool Smashers swept the veteran coach’s Capital1 side, 25-18, 25-14, 25-15,  in the 2024 All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at Smart Araneta Coliseum. MANILA, Philippines–Creamline returned to its winning ways after dominating Capital1, 25-18, 25-14, 25-15, in the PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

The Cool Smashers, who had been stunned by Chery Tiggo in straight sets previously, relied once again on Tots Carlos, who scattered 14 points from 12 attacks, a block and an ace with an attack efficiency of 60 percent. FULL STORY

MANILA, Philippines — It had been a grueling but fulfilling Saturday filled with volleyball for coach KungFu Reyes.

After guiding Chery Tiggo to a big win over defending champion Creamline in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Reyes went straight to Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City to steer the University of Santo Tomas to a 7-0 sweep in the UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball tournament first round.
