Ginebra sends Ababou, Forrester to Barako Bull for 2015 draft pick

After getting the boot in the 2015 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, Barangay Ginebra San Miguel has made moves to bolster its roster.

The Kings on Tuesday sent sparingly-used Dylan Ababou and James Forrester to Barako Bull in exchange for the Energy’s 2015 first round draft pick.

The No.8 Ginebra, which also hired a new coach in Frankie Lim, failed to crack the semifinals after bowing to Rain or Shine last Saturday.

Barako Bull head coach Koy Banal, meanwhile, was satisfied with the new additions to his squad, which also got eliminated in the playoffs after losing to No.2 Talk N’ Text.

“They will give us outside arsenal and the stability on the defensive end. I know Dylan and James very well because they both played for me,” Banal told pba.inquirer.net.

“I will still go for the experience, the tried and tested, rather than the inexperience.”
