MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang on Monday hailed Filipino boxer Nesthy Petecio for winning the featherweight division in the 2019 Aiba Women’s World Boxing Championships in Ulan-Ude, Russia.

“The Palace congratulates Filipino boxer Nesthy Petecio for winning the 2019 Aiba Women’s World Boxing Championships yesterday,” Palace spokesman Salvador Panelo said in a statement.
