PBA 3×3: Limitless takes Leg 5 title, clips TNT

MANILA, Philippines—Limitless joined the champions’ circle as it held off TNT, 14-13, to capture the Leg 5 title of the PBA 3×3 Sunday at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
The Appmasters became the fifth champions in the conference joining the Tropang Giga, Meralco, Sista, and Purefoods as titleholders.
Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser came through in the clutch for Limitless converting on Reymar Caduyac’s lob pass for the and-one opportunity and the 14-11 lead.
TNT had an early lead in the contest going up 7-4 until Ganuelas-Rosser used his athleticism to give the Appmasters a 9-8 lead with a two-handed flush.
Ganuelas-Rosser had five points to lead Limitless while Jorey Napoles and Reymar Caduyac added four points apiece as Marvin Hayes pitched in one point.
Almond Vosotros had eight points to lead the Leg 1 champions Tropang Giga while Lervin Flores and Chris Javier added two points apiece with Samboy De Leon scoring one.
Terrafirma captured its second third-place finish in the conference taking down the Leg 2 champions Bolts 3×3, 21-10.
Terrence Tumalip finished with nine points for the Dyip 3×3 while Dhon Reverente and Jebb Bulawan adding eight and four points, respectively.
