ONE: Lito Adiwang set to face Jarred Brooks in rescheduled bout

MANILA, Philippines—Lito Adiwang will have a fast turnaround after his last fight as he is set to welcome UFC veteran Jarred Brooks into ONE Championship on November 26 in Singapore.

The Team Lakay is looking to chalk up his third straight win at the expense of Brooks with their fight slated for the main event of ONE: NextGen III at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The Filipino strawweight was just coming off a unanimous decision win over Hexi Getu on September 24

Adiwang (13-3) and Brooks were originally scheduled to fight in April this year but the fight was postponed after the Filipino tested positive for COVID-19.

Brooks (16-2) will be appearing in his first fight since December 2019 when he defeated Haruo Ochi in Bellator 237.

The 28-year-old Brooks fought four times in the UFC going 2-2 in the promotion losing to Jose Torres in 2018 and former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo in 2017.

His final fight under Dana White’s company was in September 2018 when he scored a split decision win over Roberto Sanchez.

Adiwang, meanwhile, lost just once in his last 10 fights suffering a split decision defeat to Koha Minowa.
